The Lady Ball Calgary: A Little Fashion, A Lot of Love!

Beautiful scarves, lovely people, and a night that was about so much more than dressing up!

On October 22, 2026, we had the pleasure of being part of The Lady Ball Calgary at the Hyatt Regency, and we're still smiling thinking about it!

There were beautiful outfits, great conversations, and so many wonderful people, all gathered for a cause that truly matters.

Presented by Keyera in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, the evening was all about raising awareness, supporting ovarian cancer research, and celebrating the incredible women whose lives have been touched by the disease.

And guess what? Beyond Scarf got to be part of it too!

A Night Out for a Wonderful Cause

Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up for a lovely evening?

But The Lady Ball was about much more than that.

After a sold-out return to Calgary in 2025, The Lady Ball came back even bigger this year, bringing everyone together at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

There was fashion, food, entertainment, and plenty to celebrate. But what really made the evening special was seeing a community come together for women affected by ovarian cancer.

With no reliable screening test for ovarian cancer, spreading awareness and supporting research are so important.

And that's what the evening was all about: having a wonderful time while supporting something that could make a real difference.

We Brought Scarves, Of Course!

Now, we couldn't show up empty-handed, could we?

For this special evening, we were honoured to be part of something meaningful by offering 30 beautiful Malfroy silk scarves at a special price, as a gesture of love, warmth, and support for everyone touched by cancer. 💗

And not just any scarves! We chose the Malfroy Silk Square 67, Petit Trianon in Green, a lovely silk scarf with a beautiful design and colours that make it so fun to style.

We wanted to share something special with the women being celebrated, something they could take home, wear, and enjoy.

And since we love a good scarf styling moment, we brought a few tricks along too!

We had our very own Beyond Scarf table, where we got to meet some wonderful women, introduce them to our little world of scarves, and show them different ways to wear them.

A simple neck knot? Easy!

A pretty little bow? Absolutely!

Or maybe something completely different? That's the fun of scarves. There's always another way to style one!

We loved getting to chat, share ideas, and show how one scarf can be worn in so many ways.

And really, is there anything better than discovering a new way to wear something beautiful?

More Than Just a Pretty Scarf

If there's one thing we could talk about all day, it's scarves!

The colours, the prints, the little details, and all the fun ways to style them. We love it all.

But this time, our scarves meant a little something more.

The 30 Petit Trianon silk scarves from Malfroy were our small way of showing love and appreciation for the women who have faced ovarian cancer.

We hope each scarf brings a little happiness, whether it's worn to a special dinner, out for coffee, or simply on a day when someone feels like adding a little colour to their outfit.

Nothing too fancy. Just a thoughtful gift, given with lots of love.

Because sometimes, it's the little things that make someone smile.

The Best Part of the Evening? The People!

Of course, we loved being able to share our scarves, but what made the evening even better was getting to meet the people.

The survivors, their loved ones, and everyone who came out to support such an important cause.

It was lovely to be surrounded by people who genuinely cared about being there and making a difference.

For us, it was also a chance to step away from our usual days at the boutique, meet new faces, share a few laughs, and connect with our Calgary community.

And that's what made the evening so memorable.

Sometimes, it's not about doing something big. It's simply about showing up, sharing what you can, and being part of something good.
