Meet the Brand
If you couldn’t guess from the brand name, Dalliance & Noble are helplessly and most charmingly English.
Headed by a mother and son team, Dalliance & Noble’s collections are stories from history, from people, and places, current and past. Design son James Skinner is an award winner with a very pedigreed CV that features design power houses like Kenzo, Valentino and Etro. He plans each collection for 3 months, painstakingly hand drawing each inspiration that comes to mind.
To ensure that James can focus on each creation, his mother, Karen, manages the business development side of things.
Together, they make D&N what it is: quintessentially English in every aspect possible. They are not only founded in the UK, but are also manufactured in the UK. Both take pride in the environmental and labour laws in place that help ensure that each product is of the utmost quality from its conception, production, waste, and packaging.

James enjoys providing updates and storyboards of his current process, and it can’t be overlooked that further insight into the concept will help you appreciate the end result.
