We’re Hiring: Freelance SEO Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Freelance SEO Specialist who can hit the ground running. Your primary focus will be to conduct an SEO audit immediately, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to enhance our online visibility. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating our website using a new Shopify theme, so proficiency in Shopify and web design is essential.

This position is based in Calgary, and while the work can be done remotely, we require in-person meetings for design/technical discussions and collaboration. Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a comprehensive SEO audit to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to optimize website content.
• Fix technical SEO issues to improve site performance and user experience.
• Update the website using a new Shopify theme, ensuring good web design practices.
• Set up and manage Google Analytics to track website metrics and performance.
• Provide ongoing SEO analysis and recommendations based on data insights.
• Collaborate with our team to enhance the overall functionality of our Shopify store.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in conducting SEO audits and resolving issues for e-commerce websites.
• Proficient in using Shopify and able to update the website immediately.
• Strong web design skills to ensure a visually appealing and functional site.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and other SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey SEO strategies and results.
