Most people photograph Lake Louise from the front, the chateau behind them, the mountain perfectly framed. This was taken from the other side, where the glacial rock flour suspended in the water turns it a deep turquoise green, the shoreline fading into greyish white and the far bank sitting in cool shadow. Quieter, more mysterious and honestly more interesting.

That is the Lake Louise on this scarf. Abstract enough to wear anywhere, specific enough to mean something if you have stood there and felt the cold coming off the water.
