Chasing the Pearl is inspired by the Chinese dragon, a symbol of strength, protection and good fortune. Unlike the fearsome dragons often seen in Western stories, Chinese dragons are respected as wise and caring creatures. In the design, two dragons playfully chase a glowing pearl representing wisdom, prosperity and spiritual power. Jade details, red cinnabar seals and Sabina Savage’s calligraphy-style signature complete the artwork.
