Because the best Stampede looks don't clock out at 5.
Beyond Scarf x Paulina Ramis | June 2026 | Styled by Paulina Ramis · Model: Polly
Every July, Calgary transforms. For ten days, the entire city agrees to wear cowboy hats to work, the streets smell like funnel cake and barbecue smoke, and somehow none of it feels out of place. That's the Stampede, where a century-old tradition continues to this day. To learn more about the Calgary Stampede, click here.
This year, we teamed up with stylist Paulina Ramis to create the looks. Three looks, three occasions, one very clear point of view. Part 1 starts right here.
The Romantic Western-Inspired Look
Office-ready, Stampede-approved, and completely unforgettable.

Okay, we need to talk about this outfit because it has absolutely no right to be this good. Two dresses. Worn at the same time. And it is somehow the most effortlessly cool thing you will see all Stampede season.
The base is the Courtney Pastel Romance Dress from Simons. Soft, floral, billowy sleeves, the kind of dress that makes you walk a little differently when you put it on. On its own, it is already lovely. But Paulina did not stop there.
Over it goes the Zara Denim Dress, worn fully open as a long vest. The denim adds structure and a western edge without taking anything away from the softness underneath. The floral print peeks out at the hem and the sleeves, revealing itself in subtle, unexpected moments
The boots seal the look. The Irlene Topstitched Cowboy Boots from Frye & Co. in white are doing quiet, confident work here. A tan boot would have been fine, but white keeps everything feeling fresh and keeps the layering from feeling too heavy.
And then… of course, the scarf. Beyond Scarf expertly selected the Paint Pots Silk Scarf to complete the look, tying it at the neck in an effortless knot. Designed in Calgary and inspired by Alberta’s landscapes, it adds a subtle Stampede nod, while the amber gold tone lifts the entire outfit.

The finishing touch is the Sabina Savage's Cave Canem Silk Ribbon from Beyond Scarf, tied into the cowboy hat. One small ribbon completely transforms the look, proof of how the right detail changes everything.

Wear it to a morning meeting, wear it on the grounds, and wear it to dinner after. No need to change a thing.

Up next in Part 2, Paulina takes things up a notch with wide-leg jeans, a silk bandana, and a bag that does exactly what a bag should do. Stay tuned at beyondscarf.ca.
