For over a year now, most of us have had to spend a lot more time at home than we usually would have. Sweatpants, leggings, and comfy tees have basically become our uniform and this has resulted in many people being in a style rut. So we’ve partnered up with stylist Paulina Ramis to bring you some trendy, comfortable outfit ideas to inspire you to dress up and feel confident! We’ll be posting several outfits based on different themes throughout the spring and summer, so be on the lookout for our amazing curated looks!
Our first looks focus on casual wear for staying at home. If you’re finding yourself uninspired when it comes to dressing up because you’ve been living in sweatpants, the first small step to take is to change up your outfits at home. No need to leave your comfort zone! We’ve kept it pretty basic and comfortable, but our outfits are definitely a departure from the loungewear we’ve been seeing everywhere. Whether you’re just going to be sitting behind a computer screen all day, or even if you plan on doing absolutely nothing, there’s no reason why you can’t spruce up your look.
Look 1
Comfy jeans, sneakers, a tank top — the ultimate basic but stylish combination. Go for cropped boyfriend jeans to add an element of trendiness to your look. Add in the soft cashmere of this poncho, and you’ve got the most chic-casual outfit. This outfit is perfect for being relaxed while looking work-appropriate, even if you need to hop onto zoom meetings — wearing a poncho is like wearing a personal blanket, but professional. And of course, if you want to chill out on your deck or need to leave the house for a quick errand, just grab your trusty converse shoes!

Look 2
For our second outfit, we have an easy breezy shirt dress with a stylish twist! The light cotton dress is a great option for a warm day, and the white sneakers give this outfit a more youthful feel. The scarf and bracelet included in this look definitely elevate it, but we’re still keeping it casual enough for a day at home. That is definitely an outfit you’ll feel at ease and cute in, and if you want to leave the house to grab a cup of coffee just to show it off, we wouldn’t blame you! Just slip into some white sneakers and you’re done!
