This silk square illustrates the old English proverb ‘When the Cat’s away, the Mice will play’ which means ‘In the absence of a controlling entity, subordinates will take advantage of circumstances’. This playful depiction of the proverb is printed on silk satin and can be worn in a variety of styles to suit your mood – Handkerchief, neck tie, hair band, or tied onto a handbag to add a pop of colour.
Designed by talented young designer from Scotland, Helen Ruth. Helen hand drew the painting and then digitally printed on 100% silk to give a soft luxurious feeling to the wearer.
