Ferns have a way of stopping you. Their geometry is too precise to ignore, the curves too natural to have been designed by anything other than time. Walking through Gérardmer in France, surrounded by them, it was impossible not to reach for a camera.

This scarf is what came from that. Mauve and green on silk twill, the pattern warm and organic, the kind of print that feels grounded rather than decorative. It works with earthy tones and soft neutrals equally well, and has that rare quality of looking handpicked rather than mass produced.

Nature did most of the design work here. It usually does it best.
